Back in March, we released SOQL Studio 2021 with large functional improvements including OAuth 2.0 authentication and the split-mode editor and a boat load of smaller enhancements and fixes. If you missed it, you can get all the details in our blog post SOQL Studio 2021.1 Major Release. Since then, we have also released a minor update to bring Salesforce Spring ’21 API support to SOQL Studio, enabling the use of the new FIELDS() function in SOQL Studio.
The next release of SOQL Studio will bring another cornucopia of enhancements centered primarily on the Organizations tool window, as well as a few minor fixes.
Keen eyes will notice several differences in this version of the Organizations tool window from what is currently available. You will be able to drill down into a relationship field, filtering has been implemented, and the field icons for standard and custom fields are subtly different. And this is just what you can see on a static image.
There’s much more in this release to enjoy, and I’ll get into that in another post. For now, I just wanted to wet your appetite for the goodness that’ll be coming to SOQL Studio later this summer.
